Regulatory Status

CITYTRUST LIMITED (Business Registration No. 77579951) is a trust company incorporated in Hong Kong, publicly registered under section 78(1) of the Trustee Ordinance (Cap. 29, Laws of Hong Kong), and holds a Trust or Company Service Provider licence (TCSP Licence TC010153).

Scope of Business

The Company's business is the establishment and fiduciary administration of trusts, including trust accounts, receipt and payment of funds, asset conversion, debit cards linked to trust assets and fiduciary arrangements for fixed-income investments. Trust services are available by invitation only.

Important Statements

  • The Company is not a bank or an authorised financial institution and is not regulated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).
  • The Company is not a licensed corporation and is not regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC); nothing on this website constitutes a regulated activity in securities and futures.
  • Assets held in trust are not protected by the Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS) or the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF).
  • Trust assets are held in segregated client accounts in the name of the trustee, strictly separated from the Company's own assets; the Company's creditors have no recourse to trust assets.
